Chloe Wan

I am Chloe Wan.

Raised in Hong Kong and now based in Vancouver, I began my design journey in the Design Formation program at Langara College. I work as a designer with a strong interest in how visual and spatial elements come together to shape stories, guide movement, and create meaningful public experiences.

I believe good design starts with empathy. My previous career in nursing has shaped the way I observe, listen, and communicate. This human-centred perspective helps me create work that is thoughtful, accessible, and sensitive to context. I am self-motivated, open-minded, and a quick learner, allowing me to adapt easily and collaborate with people from diverse disciplines and backgrounds.

Beyond design work, I explore illustration as a narrative tool to express ideas and emotions. I also facilitate art workshops and have participated in craft markets, where I share illustration-based products with the public. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of audience interaction, storytelling, and community connection.
