Orchilandia is a virtual gallery inviting visitors to explore and learn about orchids, fostering a deeper appreciation for preserving these exquisite flowers.
We create a whimsical world to evoke curiosity and engagement. Visitors can walk on floating rocks, navigating through structures built around massive orchids. Graphics illustrate landscapes of orchid habitats, while corresponding structures reflect the orchids' locations. Artifacts showcased in glass domes at the centre emphasize conservation's importance.
Artifacts are selected from the Smithsonian Open Access collection.
